Russian President Putin has conveyed to Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian that he is prepared to assist in facilitating mediation talks aimed at establishing peace in the Middle East. Putin reached out to Pezeshkian via telephone following the breakdown of talks between Iran and the United States.
