Reports indicate that CM Vijay has ordered an inquiry into irregularities within TASMAC. Allegations had arisen that, during the previous administration, over ₹100 crore was illegally transferred monthly under the guise of party funds. It is reported that former Minister Senthil Balaji, who oversaw the department, could be brought within the probe.
