The Association of Private Primary, Nursery, Matriculation, Higher Secondary, and CBSE Schools has announced that they will not operate the 100,000 school vehicles across Tamil Nadu during the first week of June. They have alleged that RTOs are coercing them to purchase and install GPRS devices—worth Rs. 3,000—at an inflated price of Rs. 18,000, and are also demanding bribes to issue FC.
