With increasing pressure from government employees and teachers, the Tamil Nadu government may implement the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) as early as August 2025. Sources say CM Stalin could announce it on August 15. The OPS panel led by Gagandeep Singh Bedi is nearing its final report submission.
