AIADMK has nominated Thambidurai as its Rajya Sabha candidate. Hailing from Krishnagiri district, he has served six terms as a Member of Parliament and is regarded as the party’s prominent face in Delhi. He has also held the post of Deputy Speaker of the Lok Sabha.
