A new online scam targeting young adults is spreading across cities like Bengaluru, Kochi, Hyderabad, and several North Indian towns. Fraudsters promote so-called “Exclusive House Parties” on Instagram using glamorous videos, promising private elite gatherings, stranger meet concepts, alcohol, and luxury venues. Victims are asked to share personal details and pay entry fees via QR codes.
