Heavy Rain: The Meteorological Department has announced that there is a possibility of rain across 14 districts in Tamil Nadu within the next two hours. The department further stated that these 14 districts—including Coimbatore, Tiruppur, The Nilgiris, Dindigul, Madurai, Salem, Tenkasi, and Krishnagiri—are likely to experience rain accompanied by thunder and lightning.
