K. Annamalai has criticized Vaiko, the general secretary of Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, questioning how his political stance has changed over time. Annamalai also claimed that Thol. Thirumavalavan, leader of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi, would not agree to contest in just five or six seats in the upcoming political negotiations.
