Former MLA Vaiyapuri Manikandan, who served as the Deputy Secretary of the Puducherry AIADMK, has resigned from the AIADMK and joined the NR Congress party. With only one day remaining for the filing of nomination papers in Puducherry, he met CM Rangasamy and joined the party.
