The Chennai Divisional Railway Manager of Southern Railway, Shailendra Singh, said that the Kilambakkam railway station will soon be open to the public. Due to the ongoing renovation work at the Chennai Egmore railway station, temporary changes have been made to the electric train operation on the Chennai Beach – Chengalpattu route from February 20 to April 05, 2026.
