KN Nehru: The Tamil Nadu government has informed the Madras High Court that the previous DMK government shielded former Minister K.N. Nehru in the case concerning irregularities in municipal appointments. It alleged that the DMK government protected him despite the Enforcement Directorate having written a letter regarding the matter.
