IPS officers transferred: The Tamil Nadu government has issued orders transferring 13 IPS officers. Joshi Nirmal Kumar, currently the Salem City Police Commissioner, has been transferred as the Inspector General (IG) of Police Modernisation. A.G. Babu, Additional Commissioner of the Chennai City Police, has been appointed as the Salem City Police Commissioner.
