The heat is getting fiercer day by day in Tamil Nadu. While 100 degrees Fahrenheit was recorded in 8 places a week ago, today the heat has crossed the 100 mark in 15 places. The highest temperature in the country was recorded in Madurai at 106 degrees Fahrenheit. 100 degrees were also recorded in Chennai’s Meenambakkam and Nungambakkam.
