On the occasion of the Pongal festival, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin has made a joyful announcement for the farmers. Following the damage to 1.39 lakh acres of crops due to the Northeast monsoon and Cyclone Ditwag, a government order has been issued allocating ₹111.96 crore to deposit relief funds into the bank accounts of the 84,848 affected farmers.
