It has come to light that a massive scam has taken place in the procurement of books for the Periyar Arivulagam in Coimbatore, which was recently inaugurated by Chief Minister Vijay. Books with bizarre titles—generated using AI—have been attributed to obscure, unknown publishers and placed in the Periyar Arivulagam with highly inflated price tags, sparking a major controversy.
