Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin gave a huge surprise bonanza for women crediting a sum of ₹5,000 each into the bank accounts of 1.31 crore beneficiaries of the Kalaignar Magalir Urimai Thogai scheme. While ₹3,000 was for the months of February, March and April (₹1,000 per month), a special summer aid of ₹2,000 has also been credited into their accounts.
