The heat has been scorching Tamil Nadu for the past week. People are suffering due to the increasing heat day by day. Today too, the heat has been scorching in 13 places in Tamil Nadu. The temperature at Madurai airport alone was recorded at 106.16 degrees Celsius. However, light rain fell in a few places including Chennai and Kanchipuram this evening.
