A Family Court rejected a divorce petition filed by a CRPF jawan who alleged that his wife was involved in an extramarital affair. After this now Chennai High court granted him a divorce from his wife. In its case the High Court observed that since an extramarital affair is a clandestine relationship, obtaining direct evidence for it is inherently difficult.
