Mansoor Ali Khan, who leads the party ‘Indian Democratic Tigers’ sought to secure a seat from both the DMK and the AIADMK. As neither party acknowledged his request, he has announced that he will contest independently in four constituencies. Mansoor Ali Khan has also declared that he will be contesting from the Lalgudi constituency in Trichy.
