Three major Surat-based companies are investing nearly ₹10,000 crore to set up lab-grown diamond manufacturing units in Odisha’s Khordha district. The move comes as lab-grown diamond prices have crashed over 85% in the last decade, forcing companies to relocate to states offering cheaper power and subsidies.
