Mercy Killing: A 32-year-old man from the state of Uttar Pradesh has been in a coma for the past 13 years. The Supreme Court, hearing a petition filed by his parents seeking euthanasia, granted permission today. The Supreme Court stated that, for the first time in the country, the young man is to be granted euthanasia through life-withdrawal treatment.
