It has been reported that in the official seat-sharing talks with the DMK, the Congress party has asked for 29 assembly seats + Rajya Sabha seats, while the DMK side has offered 23 seats and 1 Rajya Sabha seat. Due to this, the delay in confirming the number of seats continues.
