P Chidambaram held nearly an hour-long discussions with M. K. Stalin regarding DMK–Congress seat-sharing arrangements. Reports suggest the DMK offered 29+2 seats. After the meeting, Chidambaram left without addressing the media and later stopped in Nungambakkam to brief party leadership over the phone about the talks.
