In Bangladesh, Sharif Isman Hadi, a youth leader who was a prominent figure in last year’s protests, has been killed in a shooting. Young people across the country are protesting, demanding justice for his death. Hadi, who was shot and wounded in an assassination attempt last week, died yesterday in a Singapore hospital after succumbing to his injuries.
