Tamil Nadu government has issued a government order allocating Rs. 289 crore as relief for farmers. The government has ordered the release of Rs. 289.63 crore from the State Disaster Relief Fund as compensation for crops damaged across 5.66 lakh acres due to unseasonal rains.
