At the Sivanmalai Andavar Temple in Kangeyam, Tiruppur district, new sacred items including Manja Pillaiyar, betel leaves and areca nut, arugampul grass, and lemon have been placed in the temple’s ‘Utharavu Petti’ following a divine instruction reportedly received by a devotee. The previously placed items were removed as per the temple tradition.
