High-level in-person peace talks between the United States and Iran are scheduled to begin Saturday morning in Islamabad, Pakistan, with the US side led by Vice President JD Vance, Jared Kushner, and special envoy Steve Witkoff, while Iran’s delegation is expected to be headed by Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Araghchi.
