Southern Railway is upgrading signalling systems on the Thiruvananthapuram–Tiruchirappalli route at a cost of ₹92.31 crore. Once completed, trains can run up to 130 km/h, improving speed and efficiency. Services like Ananthapuri Express and Tambaram–Kollam trains will benefit significantly.
