West Bengal: Abhishek Banerjee—the National General Secretary and MP of the Trinamool Congress Party—was subjected to a severe attack in the Sonarpur area while visiting families affected by the post-assembly election violence that recently occurred in West Bengal. Furthermore, another Trinamool MP, Kalyan Banerjee, was also attacked today.
