Durai Vaiko: MDMK Principal Secretary Durai Vaiko said that his party could not support TVK as it had contested under the Rising Sun symbol. Speaking after meeting Chief Minister Vijay in Tiruchy, he stated that MDMK remains an independent movement and that a decision on continuing in the DMK alliance would be taken by the party’s general council.
