Vanni Arasu: There had been persistent complaints that buses were not being operated to the area inhabited by Scheduled Caste communities in the Kembanur region of Coimbatore due to caste-based discrimination. Following this, the Minister for Social Justice, Vanni Arasu, had previously ordered the operation of buses to the area. Today, Vanni Arasu himself traveled on one of these buses.
