“The Karnataka government remains firm on its stance regarding the Cauvery water-sharing issue. First, the aspirations of our people will be fulfilled; we are committed to meeting their needs. Only if there is surplus water left after that will the water be shared in accordance with the law,” said Priyank Kharge, son of Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge.
