Forest officials shot and killed three Tamils in the Karnataka forest area. Vatal Nagaraj, president of the Federation of Kannada Associations, has expressed outrage over the incident, demanding that a compensation of Rs.1 crore be paid to the family of each deceased person and calling for the resignation of Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar.
