A new bus terminus with state-of-the-art facilities is being constructed in Chengalpattu, spanning approximately 10 acres. Within this terminus, an area of 46,339 square feet has been allocated for shops. CMDA officials have stated that although the opening was delayed due to the elections, the final phase of work is now progressing rapidly, and the terminus is expected to open in two months.
