TNPSC: Minister Sarathkumar has announced in the Legislative Assembly that vacancies in urban local bodies—which were previously filled through direct recruitment—will henceforth be filled through the TNPSC. The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) (Additional Functions) Amendment Bill, introduced by the Minister, was passed in the Assembly yesterday via a voice vote.
