High Court has dismissed a petition filed by former DMK Minister Periya Karuppan seeking to declare void the election of TVK candidate Srinivasa Sethupathi, who had won the Thiruppathur constituency in Sivaganga district by a margin of a single vote. The High Court dismissed the case after accepting the counter-affidavit filed by Srinivasa Sethupathi.
