Annan Seer Scheme: The Tamil Nadu government has issued a Government Order allocating Rs. 812 crore as the first phase of the scheme to provide an 8-gram gold coin and a silk saree to women getting married under the ‘Annan Seer’ scheme; administrative sanction for the same has also been granted.
