Cyclone Arnab: The India Meteorological Department has forecasted that the cyclonic storm ‘Arnab’ over the Bay of Bengal has now intensified into a ‘severe cyclonic storm’ and is expected to develop into an ‘extremely severe cyclonic storm’ within the next 12 hours. Consequently, an alert has been issued for 6 districts in Tamil Nadu, where heavy rainfall is expected tonight.
