Amid the LPG cylinder shortage, restaurants and tea shops that have switched to electric stoves will receive a ₹2 per unit electricity tariff concession, according to Tamil Nadu Electricity Board chairman Radhakrishnan IAS. The relief measure aims to support small food businesses coping with the cooking gas supply crisis.
