JioHotstar, one of India’s most popular OTT platforms owned by Reliance Industries and Walt Disney, plans to invest around 4000 crores in the next five years to produce and acquire quality films and web series from South India. As part of this, JioHotstar has also signed an agreement with the Tamil Nadu government. A ceremony for this was held in Chennai today.
