In a statement posted online, sasikanth senthil —a Congress functionary and the MP for Tiruvallur—asserted: “I strongly condemn the allegations leveled by Haseena Syed, the former President of the Tamil Nadu Mahila Congress. Targeting the Congress leadership out of personal dissatisfaction or disappointment is completely improper.”
