Chennai weather update: The Southwest Monsoon in Tamil Nadu has not been as strong as expected. However, widespread rain has been occurring over the past couple of days in northern coastal districts, including Chennai. Yesterday, 50 mm of rainfall was recorded in Chennai’s Anna Nagar. ‘Tamil Nadu Weatherman’ Pradeep John has warned that there is a possibility of similar rainfall today as well.
