Infosys, which positions itself as an “AI-first” company, reported disappointing FY26 results with revenue per employee dropping 0.8% and a panicked Q4 headcount cut of 8,400 after hiring 18,000 freshers. While revenue growth and margins offer some comfort, the results raise serious questions about execution of its AI strategy compared to TCS.
