Vanni Arasu, Tamil Nadu’s Minister for Social Justice and a key functionary of the VCK, is actively pushing for a dedicated law to prevent honor killings. While he is keen to introduce a bill to this effect during the upcoming legislative session, there is widespread talk that Chief Minister Vijay is not inclined to enact this law immediately.
