GST Council Meeting: Approval was granted at the GST Council meeting held in Delhi today, chaired by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, to revoke the arrest powers of GST officials. Furthermore, the threshold for initiating legal proceedings has been raised from Rs.1 crore to Rs.5 crore.
