The organization ‘Poovulagin Nanbargal’ has stated that a recent letter from the Central Water Commission has revealed the Karnataka government’s attempt to utilize more water via the Mekedatu dam than the quantity allocated to the state by the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal and the Supreme Court.
